Tastes just like an old-fashioned Flintstones ice-cream creamsicle. Choose whatever citrus you like, the tangerines do especially well. For the lemon juice, use a pink lemon or meyer lemon if available. Use 2 cups non-dairy milk for a creamier, thicker smoothie instead of 1 cup water and 1 cup non-dairy milk. Yummy!
- 2 inches - fresh aloe jelly from the plant
- 1 cup - water
- 1 cup - non-dairy milk
- 3-5 peeled & deseeded - oranges/clementines/tangerines/satsumas/kumquats
- 1 juiced - lemon
- 1 tsp - agave/coconut sugar (optional)
- 1 tbs - coconut oil/coconut butter
Blend it up with some ice. Or blend it up with no ice. Enjoy!
