Why do you wish to serve on the board?

To ensure the financial health of the co-op by growing our owner & customer base, to provide for the health of the Logan Square/Avondale community by providing affordable access to healthy food for the working families of our neighborhood and to help build the larger Chicago solidarity economy by building relationships with other co-ops, community groups, and activists.

Skills & experience

For many years, I have worked in the analytics field in large companies and I have extensive experience with budgets, marketing, staffing and management. I believe my marketing experience can help the Dill Pickle grow and my experience with budgets will help ensure financial rigor.

I am an active member of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America.

success for the dill Pickle looks like...

With a store that is larger and more convenient to access, Dill Pickle should grow by increasing the number of owners & customers we serve through marketing, increasing its percentage of wallet of existing owner/customers by increasing the breadth and depth of selection and to continue to emphasize its ability to serve working class and lower-income communities by providing quality food at competitive price points and by making sure the community knows that Dill Pickle is place that they can comfortably shop.

Additional info

I live around the corner from the Dill Pickle, so it's continued success will be a major factor in my quality of life. I want a healthy, thriving co-op so that I can shop there for years to come.
