Hosted by Slow Food Youth Network Chicago!
December 10th, 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the Slow Food Manifesto: a document published by the original founders of Slow Food International. This manifesto launched a global initiative to promote food that is good, clean, and fair for all! In a fast-paced era of convenience and over-production, Slow Food aims to slow down the pace of life to help improve agriculture, human health and nutrition. Slow Food chapters everywhere will celebrate "Terra Madre Day": a chance to honor our mother earth and the manifesto guidelines that will help us build a better food system to sustain this planet.
Please RSVP at this google form if you'll be joining us. Don't forget to invite friends, especially food-lovers: chefs, farmers, growers, policy makers, and eaters alike! https://forms.gle/AFZCD4vmvCKtAKWf8
